Main Muse (Main Muse) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

Account details: name and email address when you register, plus a securely hashed password.
Order and delivery information: delivery address, phone number, order contents and order status.
Support correspondence: messages you send us via email or the contact form.

Card or bank details are never stored on our servers — payments are processed by PayFast.

How we use it

To fulfil, ship and support your orders.
To send order confirmations, shipping updates and delivery notices.
To operate your account, wishlist and order history.
To send product news and offers only where you have opted in — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option.

Sharing

We share the minimum necessary information with service providers that help us run the store: PayFast (payment processing), our courier partners (delivery) and our email provider (transactional email). We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and consumer-law purposes. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised systems and personnel, and passwords are stored only as salted hashes.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to direct marketing at any time. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage for your shopping cart. We do not use advertising trackers.
